Nikkei 225 Stock Average: -325.11 (-2.0%) to 15,771.57; losing streak extends to 5th session, longest since the late Feb. sell-off
Nikkei 225 futures Osaka: -390 (-2.4%) to 15,740, Singapore (SGX) -405 (-2.5%) to 15,740, Chicago (CME) *11/7 -535 (-3.3%) to 15,850
TOPIX: -39.75 (-2.6%) to 1,516.94; Advancers 128 x decliners 1,565 (unch. 29), New highs 1 x new lows 388; only 1 (pulp/paper) of 33 sectors closed in positive territory
Nikkei Jasdaq: -21.23 (-1.2%) to 1,796.02
Yen: strengthened 0.9% against the US$ and euro late in Tokyo, to the 112.75 and 165.35 levels, respectively
Notes: MOTHERS and HERCULES rallied in spite of the larger cap sell-off, gaining 3.4% and 1.5%, respectively. The indices had been under selling pressure in recent trading.
