TOPIX: -33.76 (-2.2%) to 1,510.95; Advancers 204 x decliners 1,455 (unch. 66), New highs 6 x new lows 417; all 33 sectors posted declines; TOPIX 2nd Section renews its year-to-date low

Yen: last trading slightly weaker (-0.1%) around 115 against US$, 159.60 against euro
